Overview
Pure Niobium Round Bar is a rod-shaped material made of metallic niobium. With its unique physical and chemical properties, it is suitable for applications in many high-end fields, such as the chemical industry, medical treatment, electronics, semiconductor, energy, and superconductivity industries.

Application
- Aerospace: Used in the manufacture of rocket engine nozzles, combustion chamber components, as well as aircraft thermal protection structural components, to meet extreme temperature challenges.
- High-temperature industrial equipment, such as high-temperature furnace heating elements, ceramic sintering molds, and high-temperature deposition equipment in semiconductor manufacturing (CVD/PVD cavity components).
- Chemical and marine engineering: manufacture of corrosion-resistant reactors, heat exchangers, pipelines, and valves, particularly suitable for treating media containing chloride ions or strong oxidants; in offshore oil and gas exploitation, as a subsea pipeline connector, it is resistant to sulfide corrosion in seawater and oil and gas.
- Electronics and semiconductors: Used as substrates for high-frequency electronic components to improve signal transmission efficiency, and as sputtering targets in semiconductor manufacturing to prepare capacitor dielectric layers or superconducting films.
- Precision Instrument Manufacturing: Pure Niobium Round Bar is used for mass spectrometer ion source components and vacuum tube cathode support structure.
- Medical and scientific research: magnets for superconducting magnetic resonance imagin (MRI-RRB- devices, plates, screws, and artificial joints that bind to bone tissue, especially in patients with titanium allergies.

Process
① Extract high-purity niobium materials by powder metallurgy
② Cold isostatic pressing or hot isostatic pressing to form billets with a density of ≥90%.
③ Sintering in a vacuum furnace at 1200~1400℃ to increase the density to 95%~98%.
④ Improve mechanical properties through forging and repeated rolling.
⑤ For small diameters, drawing can be selected, and for large diameters, turning can be selected, and annealing treatment is performed.
⑥ Surface chemical polishing and pickling treatment to improve surface finish.
